When: May 22nd | 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Where: Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, 800 Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27609

What: North Carolina, the United States, and the world are increasingly diverse, international, and interconnected. The number of people living in the United States who were born in other countries is at its highest point in the past century. Stakeholders increasingly evaluate and patronize companies based on their mission, commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and positive impact on society in addition to profits and services. For businesses to succeed in today's global marketplace, they must hire and develop globally-competent employees and demonstrate their commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. In this highly-engaging and evidence-based keynote address, renowned global EDI consultant and thought leader Katherine Turner makes the case for a globally-competent workforce and equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
